Winter 2012 Adventures in Learning
Save Tuesdays beginning January 10 through February 28, for an exciting winter series of Adventures in Learning, LifeVentures' educational program. You'll be exposed to ghost stories and other paranormal happenings, in classes and at lunch. You'll hear about the infamous Dr. John Brinkley, a charlatan who once ran for governor and spent much time fleecing wealthy men out of their money to try to restore their "manhood" using goat glands. You'll experience the law and the courtroom drama of the returning "dueling lawyers," being brought back by popular demand.Other popular classes include a look at Mary Todd Lincoln, Thomas Edison and the assassinaiton of President Garfield.Classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and are held at East Heights United Methodist Church.
